Primary Robins Concert

On Thursday 28 September, Primary Robins from three Hampshire schools will perform at The Theatre Royal, Winchester. Redbridge Primary School, Tanners Brook Primary School and Winnall Primary School will sing a selection of songs they learnt last year.
This year we are celebrating 10 years of Primary Robins, both Redbridge Primary School and Tanners Brook Primary School have sung with Primary Robins since the project began.
The concert will be accompanied by members of The Berkeley Ensemble with special guest, soprano Olivia Ray. She played Emilia in our 2022 production of Otello.
Also performing is Rebekah Wakely. Rebekah was at Redbridge Primary School and in 2016 she was in our production of Oliver! Rebekah continued singing at secondary school and college and now writes and performs her own songs.
Support the project
Every week of the school year, Pimlico Opera gives primary school children a half-hour singing class. In a school year this equates to more than 100,000 hours of teaching.
