Wynne whizzes it up

A delectable night of music and dance

14 Jul 2024

Let the effervescent Wynne Evans whisk you away for a melodic and culinary extravaganza in this year’s Final Fling. Grange Park Opera trustee and BBC Radio presenter Wynne, who won fame as the face of Go Compare and triumphed in 2023 Celebrity Masterchef, will be serving up a feast onstage.

As Wynne prepares a range of recipes to tickle the senses, he presents ballerina Zenaida Yanowsky and the Aud Jebson Young Dancers of the Royal Ballet. Prepare to be dazzled by majestic dances including the Dying Swan from Swan Lake.

Baritone extraordinaire Sir Simon Keenlyside, who starred in Grange Park Opera’s productions of Otello and Oliver!, joins us to perform four famous arias. He will also dip into the Great American Songbook for a varied and vitalising recital.

Percussion act O Duo will raise the roof with their electrifying marimba and vibraphone performance. Described by The Telegraph as “brimming with style and panache”, O Duo have travelled the world to perform in front of sell-out crowds. This evening marks their second appearance at Grange Park Opera.

British a capella ensemble Apollo5 are famed for their centuries-spanning repertoire. Tonight they will delight with a vibrant selection of songs including the works of Monteverdi, Schumann, Jerome Kern and Elton John. Listen to their past concert highlights here:
