A Night with a Knight

Sir Bryn Terfel

13 JULY 2023

Bryn Terfel Gala

Our favourite Welsh knight is visiting us for just one evening.

There is something about the way he stands on that stage: he bewitches the entire auditorium.

A sumptuous selection of music embraces Wagner, Schubert, Debussy, Ivor Novello, Boito, Puccini and, of course, some Welsh folksongs. He shares the stage with soprano Ailish Tynan and Hannah Stone who was Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales from 2011 – 2015.

Bryn starred in our Fliegende Holländer last summer and the theatre was packed to the Attic. His Falstaff (2021) was hilarious and his Tevye Fiddler on the Roof (2015) was heart-breaking.
