There are two public performances to mark the end of term for 30 women who have attended weekly dance / singing classes at Bronzefield.

Led by Dale White, Jodie Jacobs, Bethany Reeves and her little band, the prisoners perform numbers from Sister Act, Chicago, Sweet Charity, Hairspray and more.

Pimlico Opera’s large prison project happens every two years, but weekly classes continue throughout the year. This interim presentation gives the women a focus. They were very excited when they were told there are going to be public performances.

These performances will last about 75 minutes and take place in the Visits Hall (not the gym).

Bronzefield is the largest women’s prison in Europe.
