An insight evening with Rupert Christiansen, Hye-Youn Lee, Luis Gomes
We welcome you to 22 Mansfield Street, with a glass of wine. It is an elegant 18th century house with Adam ceilings and a grand drawing room which is perfect for music and enlightenment.
Rupert Christiansen, opera critic for The Telegraph for 25 years and now dance critic for The Spectator, will share his own insights into the opera and draw from singers Hye-Youn Lee and Luis Gomes how they approach their roles – Butterfly & Pinkerton.
Hye-Youn and Luis will sing extracts from the opera and present other choice morsels.
