Where?

We are on the edge of London.

The five-tier opera house with a large orchestra pit is modelled on La Scala, Milan. Its acoustic and intimacy have been deemed exceptional. It nestles in the woodland behind West Horsley Place.

The opera house is a 40-minute drive from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

The summer evening

Glyndebourne has made famous the format of English summer opera the world over: the long leisurely interval and the tranquillity of an English garden.

Many say that the experience at Grange Park Opera is like the old days… formal gardens (where Queen Elizabeth I wandered for a week in 1559) and an ancient house where there is interval dining.

But most importantly, the opera is top-notch.
