Sam Marston
Sam Marston graduated from the MMus Opera course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, under the tutelage of Scott Johnson. Recent roles include Gastone La traviata (Grange Festival), Henrik Egerman A Little Night Music (Opera North), Frederic The Pirates of Penzance, Nanki-Poo The Mikado, Ralph Rackstraw HMS Pinafore and Luiz The Gondoliers (National G & S Opera Company at Buxton Opera House), Beppe Pagliacci and Trio Trouble in Tahiti (Mid Wales Opera), Mercury Orpheus in the Underworld and Nauta/Historicus Historia Joane (If Opera). Sam performed in the Royal Opera House’s Lost & Found project and covered the role of Tom Rakewell The Rake’s Progress (Grange Festival), winning the Grange Festival Prize for Most Promising Singer.
