Award winning designer Leslie Travers trained at the Wimbledon School of Art‚ and is now recognised as one of the leading stage designers of his generation.

Leslie has been nominated for countless theatre awards‚ which have led to wins for Francesca da Romini– La Scala-Franco Abbiati Award for Best Set Design Italy 2018, Grimes on the Beach-Opera North/Aldeburgh Music (Best Anniversary Production – International Opera Awards 2014 and What’s On Stage – Opera Event of The Year)‚ for Otello-Scottish Opera and Opera North (Manchester Theatre Awards 2014 – Best Opera)‚ for The Children’s Crusade– Luminato Festival‚ Toronto (Dora Mavor Moore Award Best Opera Production 2010) and for Vurt Contact Theatre (Arthur Peter Design Award).
