Krishna’s Halo & the Gopis

Members of Krishna’s Halo and the Gopi Milkmaids form the backbone of this epic production

Staging a world première of this scale is ambitious in many respects. A chorus sits in a tiered temple; the dance troupe is choreographed by superstar Shobana Jeyasingh; there are playful Gopi puppets, a weeping cow and an orchestra.

Members will be credited as sponsors of this production, receive priority booking and invitations to insight events with cast and creatives.

Gopi Milkmaid – £10k

The six dancing Gopi Milkmaids, choreographed by Shobana, are devotees of Krishna. He steals their clothes while they are bathing.

Krishna’s Halo – £5k

The mystic sound of Krishna is captured by eight flutes sitting 10 metres above the audience, bathing them in the halo of Krishna. The eight flautists blow through three types of flute (piccolo, flute and alto flute), crowning Krishna’s glory.
