Jeremy White
Jeremy White enjoys an international career in opera, concert and recording. International opera appearances have taken him to the Aix-en-Provence Festival, Teatro alla Scala, Grand-Théâtre de Bordeaux, De Nederlandse Opera, Bregenz Festival, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and New York’s Metropolitan Opera House. He is currently the sole Staff Principal at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. He has also performed with Glyndebourne Festival Opera, English National Opera, Opera North, Grange Park Opera, and at London’s South Bank.
Jeremy has appeared in a huge number of operatic roles which in recent seasons have included: Kecal The Bartered Bride, Sagrestano Tosca, Bonze Madama Butterfly, Marquis La traviata, Benoit/Alcindoro La Bohème, Talpa/Betto Il trittico, Il Re Aïda, Talbot Giovanna D’Arco, the title role in Rossini’s Il Turco in Italia, Polkan The Golden Cockerel, Khan Konchak Prince Igor, Varlaam Boris Godunov, Rocco Fidelio, Truffaldino Ariadne auf Naxos, Kecal The Bartered Bride, Dikoy Káťa Kabanová, Notary Der Rosenkavalier, Schwarz Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Sarastro Die Zauberflöte, Luther Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Béthune Les Vêpres Siciliennes, Achilla Giulio Cesare, Pluto Orfeo, Tiresias Oedipus Rex, Dansker Billy Budd, Superintendent Budd Albert Herring, Parsons 1984 (Maazel), Daddy Hogan Anna Nicole, Trulove The Rake’s Progress, Peachum The Beggar’s Opera (Britten), Snug A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Abbot Curlew River and multiple roles in The Nose.
