We are on the edge of London with a proper five-tier opera house with a big pit. The acoustic and intimacy of the opera house have been deemed exceptional for Wagner.
The opera house is a 40-minute drive from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

Who?
Director / designer Charlie Edwards is inspired by Wagner’s original designs.

Renowned Wagnerian Anthony Negus provides Music Leadership for the cycle and conducts Siegfried and Götterdämmerung.
Charlie’s 2023 Tristan was highly praised in the national press.
Tickets
Das Rheingold booking opens for donors on Tuesday 15 July 2025.
They will also be able to reserve tickets for Walküre (2027), Siegfried (2028), and Götterdämmerung (2029) on payment of a deposit.
Performance dates will be announced one year in advance.

Glyndebourne has made famous the format of English summer opera the world over. The long leisurely interval and the tranquillity of an English garden.
