Born: Yorkshire, Training: Royal Academy of Music. Hailed for his “Powerful Bass-Baritone” (Bachtrack), Harrison Chéné-Gration performs regularly in both Europe and the United States with a diverse repertoire spanning Monteverdi, Mozart, Wagner, Puccini and Britten. Credits include title roles in Gianni Schicchi and Bluebeard’s Castle, Mephistopheles (Faust), Leporello (Don Giovanni), Wotan, Fasolt and Hunding (Der Ring), Colline and Schaunard (La Bohemé), il Frate (Don Carlo), Rambaldo (La Rondine), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro), Seneca (L’incoronazione di Poppea), and Gremin (Eugene Onegin).
