Hannah Stone

Hannah Stone was Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales from 2011 – 2015. 

Swansea-born Hannah grew up in Treboeth and Mumbles, making her performance debut aged 8. In 2002, aged 15, she played for The Queen on her Jubilee Tour of Wales and has played for the Royal Family on several other occasions.

Hannah went on to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, which included an Erasmus Exchange place at The Mozarteum University, Salzburg to study with Professor Helga Storck.

As a guest soloist, Hannah has appeared with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Sinfonia Cymru, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra and Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra, Istanbul. Recital appearances include Edinburgh International Festival, Litchfield Festival, Kings Lynn Festival, and at Kings Place, London, Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace, and in Italy, Tokyo and Melbourne.

A National and International Eisteddfod winner, Hannah’s notable appearances include the 2014 NATO Conference Dinner at Cardiff Castle. Hannah performed for the NATO delegates who included the former President of the United States, Barack Obama, Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel and former Prime Minister, David Cameron.

In 2016 Hannah gave recitals in Toronto and Vancouver, and recent engagements have included performances at the Verbier Festival, Cardiff’s Festival of Voice and a memorial service for Lord Snowdon at St. Margaret’s, Westminster.
