David Stout

David’s appearances at Grange Park Opera include Posa Don Carlo, Sancho Panza Don Quichotte, Papageno Magic Flute, Poacher Cunning Little Vixen demonstrate his artistic versatility. As Papageno, he played his own chimes – often played in the pit by a pianist – and has earned a formidable reputation for his charisma and stage presence.

David combines his opera schedule with his passion for oratorio and song repertoire.

With a degree in Zoology and a background in safari in Southern Africa, David is a keen naturalist.
