Charlotte Bateman
British mezzo-soprano Charlotte trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Alexander Gibson Opera School. Her recent operatic roles include Tisbe La Cenerentola with Hampstead Garden Opera, Idamante Idomeneo, Mrs Nolan The Medium and Dorothée Cendrillion at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and Dorabella Cosi fan Tutte and La Ciesca Gianni Schicchi with LoveOpera. Charlotte’s interests include good food, spending time with her wonderful family and trying to hide her competitiveness at board games.
The 2026 season is Charlotte’s debut with Grange Park Opera.
