Caspar Singh
British-Indian tenor Caspar Singh has spent the last two seasons as Principal Mozart Tenor at the Komische Oper Berlin, where recent roles include Tamino Die Zauberflöte, Ferrando Cosi fan tutte, Hyllus Hercules and Dalands Der fliegende Holländer. He was previously an ensemble member of the Bayerische Staatsoper, Munich. Caspar completed his studies at the Staatsoper’s Opernstudio at the end of the 2019-20 season, having received a first-class degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he studied under Adrian Thompson and Susan Waters.
Highlights of 2024-25 include his company debuts as Ferrando at Malmö Opera and Den Norske Opera, Lysander with Garsington Opera at the BBC Proms and his Wigmore Hall recital debut. Future plans include his company debut at the Gran Teatro del Liceu, Barcelona and a return to the Bayerische Staatsoper.
When he’s not singing, Caspar spends most of his time cooking and walking the dog.
