Michael Cowan
24 June 1952 – 1 October 2023

Michael Cowan was a man of remarkable humility and generosity. He deployed his exceptional analytical mind to the betterment of Grange Park Opera with laser precision. In recognition of this he was made Honorary Life President.

Michael’s life story is one of rags to riches. He often told me that he lived on hand-me-downs until he was at Churchill College, Cambridge when he bought his first shirt.

It is unthinkable that he is no longer on the end of the phone.
