How can a small island produce two fabulous tenors? They are friends and present a programme of opera arias, song and perhaps something unexpected and Maltese.
Joseph will include favourites from Tosca, Bohème and Butterfly. And Nico will stun us with his top Cs.
Joseph Calleja’s recent opera appearances include Pollione Norma in Munich and Cavaradossi Tosca in Berlin. Coming up he has Rodolfo Boheme at the Met and more Tosca in Dresden.
Next spring Nico Darmanin is in Venice at La Fenice with The Barber of Seville (which he sings for us in 2026) followed by more Barbers in Spain, William Tell and Rinaldo.
