The Ring Ring

Join the inner circle

Why does The Ring cost so much?

Wagner’s music dramas are notoriously complicated to stage. They require a large orchestra and sophisticated voices that marry up to his orchestration. Rehearsing and performing these works takes more time than, say, a Puccini opera.

Thus, the cost of staging Wagner is greater than most other opera repertoire. That is why we need a Ring Ring.

Donors will be invited to insight events on The Ring Cycle including a launch event in October 2024.

We are looking for four categories of donors:

The Valhalla syndicate

Members of this syndicate will be credited as the overall production sponsor of each opera. Contact Jack Rush at jack@grangeparkopera.co.uk.

The Gods – £10k per opera

The opportunity to book up to 20 tickets (which cannot be sold on), membership of the Chairman’s Circle and Department of Revels (giving first priority booking to other operas in the season).

And we’ll give you a greater leitmotif. Contact Jack Rush at jack@grangeparkopera.co.uk.

The Valkyries – £5k per opera

The opportunity to book up to 10 tickets (which cannot be sold on), membership of the Department of Revels (giving first priority booking to other operas in the season).

And we’ll give you a lesser leitmotif. Contact Jack Rush at jack@grangeparkopera.co.uk.

The Ringlets – £1k per opera

The opportunity to book up to 4 tickets (which cannot be sold on), membership of the School of Plato (giving pre-public priority booking to other operas in the corresponding season).
