Talk & dine with Ivan the Terrible

Talk & dine with Ivan the Terrible at the Traveller’s Club

The Romanoff Foundation presents a prelude to Grange Park Opera’s 2021 Season

Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera Ivan the Terrible is the 2021 season’s greatest spectacle. The romantic score of Muscovite passion, vivid pathos and bloody betrayal is performed by an international cast including Evelina Dobracheva as Princess Olga (coming from Berlin), Muscovite Liubov Sokolova as her nurse, Carl Tanner (from Virginia) as the rebel Tucha, and Clive Bayley as Ivan the Terrible. Pountney directs and Mariinsky conductor Tatarnikov has received his visa. It’s all about to happen.

But how Terrible was Ivan?

Helena Barton will enlighten us.

Numbers are limited to 42 guests on tables of 6.
