Why do the operas need your support? It is as simple as this: Grange Park Opera receives no public subsidy and ticket sales only cover two thirds of costs. Memberships bridge the gap. Where would we be without art in our lives?

THE DEPARTMENT OF REVELS (formerly The Glass Ceiling Society) proposed donation £1,250
Queen Elizabeth I stayed at West Horsley Place for around a week in August 1559. A month before, her Revel Office (a department created by her father, as part of the Royal Wardrobe) began preparations for the staging of entertainments for this Surrey visit. Props, tents, costumes, furniture and paraphernalia were transported by barge from the Blackfriars stores to Hampton Court and then overland.
As a member of the Department of Revels, you will be invited to an evening at the McLaren Technology Centre, to two post-performance parties and all the special events listed below.

THE SCHOOL OF HIPPOCRATES the physician proposed donation £700
Hippocrates members are invited with three guests to a behind-the-scenes opera house tour From the Pit to the Attic guided by CEO Wasfi Kani. There will be a Grand Winter Dinner (in 2017 it was at the Mansion House), an invitation to the stage during the opera season and all the special events listed below.

THE SCHOOL OF ARCHIMEDES the great inventor proposed donation £375
Archimedes members are invited to an opera house tour From the Pit to the Attic guided by CEO Wasfi Kani. There is an Archimedes soirée.

There is an Plato soirée and you may book tickets and dining from Tuesday 9 January.
